Octapharma USA is searching for a Patient Experience Manager responsible for the NE Region (NY, NJ, PA, CT, MA, NH, VT, RI, and ME) territory. Using expert understanding of the patient journey, the Patient Experience Manager (PEM) provides accurate disease state and product information that assists patients in gaining access to Octapharma brands. These activities are to be performed in a manner that is fully compliant with all appropriate regulations. The PEM is responsible for working specifically with patients, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders that support these patients to retain current patients and to convert new patients onto Octapharma brands. Customers include patients and families, Home Infusion Companies, Specialty Pharmacies and Distributors and local Hemophilia and IDF Chapters and affiliates. Position can be located in: NY, NJ, PA, CT, MA, NH, VT, RI, or ME.
5+ years of direct sales experience in rare diseases, ideally in the hemophilia/bleeding disorders and SCIg segments required.
Plasma and/or Biologics knowledge/experience preferred
Knowledge of the hemophilia and/or vWD market and community, including a developed knowledge of current products in this space is strongly preferred.
Must be able to communicate as effectively with the medical community as with home healthcare, specialty pharmacy and consumers.
Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
BS/BA or higher
This position generally works Wednesday through Sunday and overnight travel required. Must have a valid driver's license.
