I’m Alex Perez, National Accounts Manager, S. Florida. I am proud to be part of the National Accounts team here at Octapharma, and particularly excited to assist with Infusion Services Accounts, a fast-growing segment of our Immunology business. I enjoy engaging with customers at a senior management level, searching out unmet needs, and providing service and solutions that benefit both our customers and Octapharma. Nothing beats being part of a world-class team and helping to deliver life-saving therapies in immunotherapy, bleeding disorders, and critical care to patients who depend on them.

I love the entrepreneurial spirit of the company. It inspired me when I first joined the company and continues to do so today. Octapharma is a large, diverse, multicultural employer. Even though the company has been around for a long time and has grown consistently, it still manages to keep that “start-up” fire alive. It shows up in the way we strive for constant improvement. What makes the company successful? We do! Everyone is encouraged to share their thinking and the company is always ready and willing to listen. Whether you’ve got ideas about better processes, new opportunities, how to improve efficiencies, or respond to challenges, you have an open forum. The final decisions may not always be the ones you were looking for, but you can be sure that your ideas will be welcomed and fully discussed. On the other hand, your perspective may just be instrumental to improving the way we do things here. So everyone is invited to speak up! It’s a great feeling to be heard and valued.

I have had many opportunities to add my thoughts on how to improve our operations. For example, a few years ago I took on the role of field trainer for my sales region, a role that pioneered regional field training within the organization and one that has since been rolled out across all three of Octapharma’s business segments. Listening to challenges, finding solutions, and helping to build our successes has always been my beat. Now I get to do it within Infusion Services.
