Position Summary:

Octapharma USA is searching for a Senior Product Manager, Acquired Bleeding to join our team. The Sr. Product Manager, Acquired Bleeding is responsible for maximizing sales through individual brands or through portfolio positioning in which Octapharma is positioned as the bleeding management company of choice. The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for marketing and launch of an Acquired Fibrinogen brand and supporting EUA with subsequent commercial launch for a novel bleeding management brand. The Senior Product Manager will meet market development objectives through effective strategy, pre-market conditioning, operational brand planning, implementation, and management of resources. The Sr. Product Manager will work closely with US Sales, Value/ Access & Medical teams to execute on the launch strategy including relevant market development, training, portfolio alignment with overall strategy, tactical implementation, and launch meeting. The Sr. Product Manager of Acquired Bleeding will be required to have recent launch experience with novel hospital products and a proven ability to build and develop new markets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communication, or another related field

  • 5+ years of experience in clinical/medical marketing required.

  • Solid track record of delivering new launches into the US market.

  • Experience developing integrated omni-channel launch marketing plans & Field Sales tools.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of product placement, pricing, reimbursement, messaging, branding, and creative product/program development in the hospital space

  • Experience building new marketing capabilities, processes and programs.

  • Experience in creating a new marketplace/ market development.

  • Demonstrated track record of market development and enforcing a change in habits of customers.

  • Proven ability to identify and define business questions and issues and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis and generate conclusions.

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to travel as needed, including overnight stays, at least 25%.

Octapharma USA Compensation and Benefit Summary: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $160,000 to $182,000; however, unexpected and necessary adjustments or increases may result from Company annual salary increases, if applicable, and or fluctuations in the job market necessitating adjustments to pay ranges. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits, including parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
